W-HUD projects driving related information of driving status, navigation, ADAS, etc., in terms of images and characters onto windshield, generating a virtual image in front of the driver's field of view. It allows the driver to obtain real-time driving information without having to change their vision.
HUD is able to automatically adjust the brightness of images
according to ambient light signals from the vehicle light sensor.
It enables users to have an excellent visual experience in different environments
(i.e., tunnel, basement, daytime, night, etc.).
The design side sets up a forward simulation of stray light
and introduces professional software to achieve visualization effects.
While the test side builds all-round testing on a real-vehicle environment,
establishing an industrial standard for stray light and proposing a quantitative index.
For distortion, NEW VISION has achieved pixel-level warping from products to vehicles,
and from hardware to software. and we have applied for a number of patents.
OTA (Over-The-Air) capable, through W-HUD software upgrade, supports vehicle OTA.
